2 DAY MONTREAL TOUR SAMPLE ITINERARY

Day 1

MORNING
Depart school via deluxe, climate-controlled and restroom equipped motorcoach. A movie will be shown en route. We will stop at McDonalds for a rest-break and breakfast on your own.

11:30 AM
Arrive in Old Montreal

We will walk through the narrow cobblestone streets to Place Jacques Cartier, the heart of Old Montreal. You’ll have time to grab lunch on your own, watch the street performers and browse through the shops of this lovely area of the City.

1:00 PM
Notre Dame Basilica Tour

We will visit Notre Dame Basilica, the jewel of Montreal in terms of wood carvings, 22-carat gold decorations, stained glass windows and art works.

2:00 PM
“Saute-Moutons” Jet Boating on Lachine Rapids

Depart from the Victoria Pier in Old Montreal for an
unforgettable jet boating excursion on the Lachine Rapids of the mighty Saint Lawrence River. You will be issued several layers of rain gear, but you will get wet. Souvenir pictures of your awesome ride will be available for purchase upon your return. You will change clothes at the pier.

Hard Rock Café

Enjoy a dining experience inspired by Rock ‘n Roll!

7:00 PM
The Old Port’s Maze in Shed 16

Located in a real shed, the Shed 16 Labyrinth offers 27,000 square feet of corridors, obstacles, mystery, surprises and enigmas. It’s enough to make your head spin! Rain or shine, our adventure leaders await you.

LaserQuest

Get ready for the biggest blast of your life! In Laser- Quest’s darkened maze, adventure lurks around every corner. You don’t just play the game – your in it!

Underground Tour

See the Metro and tour the Underground as a group, then spend time exploring and shopping in small groups.

Enjoy a group pizza party in the Underground.

12:30 PM
Montreal’s Olympic Park

First, visit Montreal’s amazing, $50-million Biodome; the only environmental museum of its kind. You’ll be treated to a voyage of discovery through four ecosystems where thousands of plants and small animals live in recreated natural habitats.

2:00 PM
Olympic Tower

Ride the funicular 556 feet to the top of the world's tallest inclined tower for a panoramic, 50-mile view of Montreal, the St. Lawrence Seaway and the surrounding countryside.

2:30 PM
Meet your bus and depart for home. We will stop at McDonald’s for dinner on your own.

EARLY MORNING
Depart from School

Enjoy onboard movies while we head towards Montreal. Our modern motor-coach is climate-controlled and restroom equipped.

UPON ARRIVAL
Tour & Lunch in Old Montreal

AFTERNOON

Olympic Tower

Swimming
Swim at the Olympic Pool, the site of the 1976 Olympic aquatic competitions. (A swim suit and towel are required; no cut-offs, t-shirts, etc.)

EVENING
Ghost Walk

Accompanied by one of our “ghostly guides”, you will explore Old Montreal as you've never done before. With him or her, you'll discover places where events of great importance to Montreal's history took place. On the menu, there will be fires, political demonstrations, serious crimes, hangings, heroic acts and mysterious legends. In addition, you'll meet a second ghost who will reveal his or her grisly secrets to you.

Holiday Inn, Longueuil

DAY 2

Mount Royal
See Montreal from its highest point with a photo stop for a class picture.

Metro Tour, Underground Tour & Pizza Lunch
Ride the metro to Montreal’s famed Underground - 17 miles of shopping and restaurants. Tour the Underground as a group, then spend time exploring and shopping in small groups.

2:00 PM
Meet your bus and depart for Home. We will stop for a fast food dinner on your own.
