Day 1

EARLY MORNING (4:30am)
Departure from School

Enjoy the onboard movie while we head towards Washington D.C. Our motor-coach is climate-controlled and restroom-equipped. We will stop for meals and rest breaks along the way.

Spy Museum

Group Visits to the International Spy Museum are one of the most dynamic, educational and enjoyable experiences in the Washington DC area!

6:00 PM
Hard Rock Café

If you think that our nation's capital is stuffy, guess again. For over 10 years this café’s been rockin' the scene in the city on the Potomac. At the Hard Rock Cafe we don't care which political party you belong to, 'cause the real party is here.

7:30 PM
Washington Night Tour

Your guided tour includes Embassy Row, The National Cathedral, JFK Center for the Performing Arts, Jefferson, Washington, Lincoln, Vietnam, Korean and WW II War Memorials.

Including the Library of Congress (picture spot), Supreme Court and Capitol Buildings.

Holocaust Museum—”Daniel’s Story”

"Daniel's Story" explains the Holocaust through a 11-year old child's eyes, using a non-threatening, hands-on setting.

National Air and Space Museum

The Smithsonian Institution's National Air and Space Museum maintains the largest collection of historic air and spacecraft in the world. (lunch on own in the food court)

Museum of Natural History

The Museum is dedicated to inspiring curiosity, discovery, and learning about the natural world through its unparalleled research, collections, exhibitions, and education outreach programs.

 

4:30 PM
Washington’s National Zoo

This 163-acre zoo houses more than 4,000 animals and is famous for its Gorilla House, Bird Resource Center, Reptile Discovery Center and more.

6:30 PM
Group Dinner at the Old Post Office Pavilion

Everyone from tourists to Congresspersons enjoys this International Food Court because of the diverse cuisine, and a festive atmosphere that surrounds visitors with fabulous browsing,
shopping, and live music.

Washington Monument

DAY 3

11:30 AM
Staten Island Ferry

Enjoy a close-up view of the Statue of Liberty as we pass close by. See the Verrazano Bridge and the magnificent NYC Skyline as we return to Manhattan from our 1-hour harbor cruise to Staten Island and back.

Battery Park
- Shopping and lunch on your own

2:00 PM
Ground Zero

First installed at the Public Viewing Platform at Ground Zero, this was the first memorial of its kind to pay tribute to all the victims of the attacks on the World Trade Center.

3:00 PM
Times Square

The crossroads of the world attracts over 27 million tourists annually. Sites include the “Lights of Broadway,” famous theaters, MTV Studios, Virgin Records, the home of “Good Morning America” and more.

4:30 PM
Depart for School

We’ll stop along the way for an included dinner at the Old Country Buffet.

Full day tour of the sites of Washington D.C.

Begin your sight-seeing with a visit to Capitol Hill including the Library of Congress, Supreme Court and Capitol Buildings. Later, your visit options include many of the following: Various museums and galleries of the Smithsonian Institution;
Holocaust Museum; Bureau of Engraving & Printing; FBI Building; National Geographic Society; and more.

Air & Space Museum’s IMAX Theater


5:30 PM

We will visit the grounds at Arlington Cemetery. Here, you will take the Tourmobile with stops at Arlington House, the Kennedy gravesites and the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.
